During the evaluation period, we reviewed the performance of ClearSky Fuel Treatment across four heavy-duty trucks operating under normal fleet conditions. All four vehicles demonstrated measurable improvements in fuel economy after treatment, resulting in positive net fuel-cost savings in each case. While the magnitude of improvement varied by unit, the results indicate that even modest MPG gains were sufficient to offset treatment cost and produce a favourable return.
It is important to acknowledge that fuel economy outcomes are influenced by several variables beyond fuel treatment alone, including driver habits, traffic patterns, route profiles, load weight, weather, idle time, and mechanical condition. Notably, the two best-performing vehicles during this period were each operated by the same dedicated driver for the entire year (each vehicle had its own consistent driver, not a shared driver), which may have contributed to more consistent driving behaviour and stronger results. I’ve been using ClearSky Complete for over 3 years now in my 2020 Ram 3500 with the 6.7 HD diesel engine. It is quick and easy to add when fueling up. It improved my fuel economy by approximately 10% after the first 5 tanks, and about 15% when towing my 30ft RV trailer. Since then, my fuel economy has improved by 20-23% overall to date. Cleaning and lubricating the engine is an additional benefit, which will extend the life of my engine.
